Rent Well

The Rent Well Program offers free training through nonprofits in order to educate those experiencing housing insecurity on renter’s rights, tenant-landlord laws and regulations. This program has shown positive results within our communities for the past 15 years but it lacks the funding needed to ensure that all who want access to the instructor-led courses have that chance. With proper funding for classes, we can better serve the homeless population and give them the knowledge and resources to help maintain their housing status, thus allowing for better rehabilitation and addiction recovery through stabilization.

Landlord Incentive Fund
Bridging the Gap Between Landlords and Houseless Individuals

Rent Well’s Landlord Incentive Fund provides landlords with financial peace of mind, addressing concerns like property damage, unpaid rent, and tenant misconduct. Landlords are eligible to receive up to $5,000 in financial relief to encourage their flexibility while taking in unconventional tenants.

How It Works:

  1. Tenants enroll in Rent Well and commit to responsible tenancy.

  2. Landlords can claim reimbursement for damages, unpaid rent, or misconduct.

  3. Claims are processed with documented proof, ensuring fairness and accountability.

Why It Matters:

This program reduces risks for landlords while empowering tenants to build stability and responsibility. Rent Well’s support of both the tenants and landlords guarantees mutual success as we aim for a healthier, more equitable community.
